Strengthening Data Protection: Cooperatives Attend Privacy Orientation
On March 25, 2025, cooperatives from across Muntinlupa gathered for an important orientation on the Data Privacy Act of 2012, aimed at deepening their understanding of responsible data management.
The session drew 37 participants from various cooperative organizations, all eager to learn best practices for safeguarding personal information. Topics covered included the proper handling of member data, key compliance requirements, and actionable steps to ensure privacy protection within cooperative operations.
This initiative reinforces the vital role cooperatives play in upholding ethical standards and protecting the trust of their members. By equipping cooperative leaders with the right knowledge, we help foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and digital resilience.
