Cooperative Loan Assistance Program: Strengthening Local Enterprises

On March 13, 2025, the City Government of Muntinlupa successfully held the Memorandum of Agreement signing for a ₱1 million Sustainable Loan granted to Pag-asa sa Paglaya Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PSP MPC).

The agreement was formally signed by Mayor Ruffy Biazon and Mr. Pancio Payos, CEO of PSP MPC, with Atty. Nemei Santiago, head of the Cooperative Office, and Councilor Elliot Martinez, Chairperson of the Committee on Livelihood and Cooperatives, serving as official witnesses.

This Sustainable Loan is part of the city’s Cooperative Loan Assistance Program, which aims to support the growth and stability of cooperatives across Muntinlupa. PSP MPC’s approval marks their fourth loan, a reflection of their strong repayment history and operational integrity.

The ₱1 million fund will serve as additional working capital, helping the cooperative expand its services and strengthen its operations to better serve its members.
